Choose all results of a search
If I want to export all results of a search to my citation manager, I need to do it a page at a time. I would like to export all at once, too.

Medical Instruments
I would like if there is something like upcoming medical instruments. There are very few blogs but coverage is very less and very concentrated to one part of world.

Could you give us more information regarding what kind of information you would be looking for. On what platform / website is it covered today and in which part of the world is it more likely to be presented?

allow users to amend author first/middle initial
GoPubMed.org allows authors to amend their PubMed publications from first/middle initial to first/middle name since PubMed only used initials and not an author's full name in the 1990s. In my case, there is someone else with an identical first/middle initials and the same last name as mine and credit for my scholarly work has mistakenly been given to him in Scopus.com for example.

Why not index wikipedia?
wikipedia is a great source and contains a lot of biomedical information. I believe it would be of great interest to the users of novoseek if you could mine the wikipedia for information and make it available.

Search in figure and table captions
Could you search in the captions of figures and tables? Sometimes I need to specifically find figures or tables that contain certain words but I am less interested in the contents of the paper.

be comprehensive
include all pubmed articles, some of the newer ones on pubmed are not on novoseek... is there a lag?

Your suggestion is under review and will be processed shorlty. There are two possible reasons why some newer articles on Pubmed are not on novoseek. First is that Pubmed just does not provide access to them. Second is that there has been many updates and we are currently updating them to our service.
Would you please tell us the searches at stake?

Include indexing term in exports
Many results have already been indexed in various libraries, and have standardized indexing terms attached. If you could include these in the export, it would allow me to include these in my reference manager file, allowing me to do more when I'm offline (e.g. in flight)

Thanks for suggesting it. We are working on implementing it.
Currently novoseek indicates when a publication is translated from a foreign language with the square brackets [ ] as pubmed does.

bibliographics
I like the way you show you can filter authors and journal type.
What would be more interesting is be able to filter by institutions.3 votes -
Searching for an exact phrase should not additionially deliver "or"-results of words in the phrase
Searching for an exact phrase should not additionially deliver "or"-results of words in the phrase. That makes the exact phrase senseless

Please try again the search for an exact phrase using brackets “…” It should help the system spot the very phrase you are looking for.
Also, please come back to us with this search to see if everything correct on our side. -
Show related articles
It would be cool if you could show articles that are related to a publication (similar as in PubMed).

mash-up scientific articles with other content on the web
When I read a paper I often have to search for other publications or even look up things on the web. It would be great if novoseek could link directly to more content and help me save time. mash-ups with other services like maps, images or videos might also be useful.

Provide more details for relationships
I like the filters in novoseek and find them very useful. But they would be even better if I could get some more details about the relationships. E.g. if two proteins are interacting, or if a drug is used to treat a disease.

Show the DOI on the abstract page
and link it to the article via the http://dx.doi.org/ resolver.

expand our ability to handle more abstracts at one time e.g. 500 should be the minimum. Thanks.
